My name is Mark Berman, and I am a transplant to Los Angeles from New York City. I moved here on Christmas Day in 2005 and I never looked back. I came here to try my hand at screenwriting, and yes, I’m still trying! In the meantime I write and provide content for a news-oriented website. In New York I was an Emmy-nominated newswriter/producer in local television news. I am also a published author, and have tried my hand at stand-up comedy. It’s no fun when they don’t laugh.
